Domestic living

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I got to sleep in a bit and have a date night with Boyfriend. Color me happy.
I've been thinking a lot about how I can do things every day that make my life easier. A few months ago I started a cleaning schedule. When I stick to it {eep, when indeed!}, I find that my apartment is tidy and generally organized. Sometimes life happens and I get set off track. Because it is the first cleaning schedule I've put together, I think I need to revise it to be simpler to read. I've been searching the internet to see how others do it and I've found a few neat ones. The one above, ClutterBug.Me, is colorful and seems relatively simple.
What do you all think? Do you stick to a cleaning schedule or do you find that you are dutiful enough at keeping on top of household tasks? Do you wish you were on a cleaning schedule? If you are on one, how did you delegate the tasks?
I'm very interested in getting your feedback!
xx

I also have a cleaning schedule and by now it's pretty easy to follow but in the beginning I had a really hard time to fit everything in. Since I work from home it's easier for me to follow it daily. I like yours a lot! Kisses, sweetie.

sounds like you had a nice weekend as did I. I love this cleaning schedule idea and will be saving it for later. I always get too overwhelmed thinking I can do it all in one night. thanks for this idea hun! xx. gigi. food and beauty blogger @ www.gigikkitchen.blogspot.com

Honestly, I think I am going to print this out and stick it on my wall! Splitting up the tasks makes it so much easier than tackling everything in one day and consequently, wasting an entire day!

I must make one of these schedules -- I think it would definitely help me stay on track with cleaning my apartment!

I never really thought about making a schedule like this but it seems like a great idea - if only my husband and I could commit to it! We generally just clean on the weekends and let things go during the week.

p.s. that cleaning schedule seems like a reasonable one, i think i can follow that. ;)

A cleaning schedule would definitely make it easier for me to stay on top of things. Though I would far prefer a cleaning robot to simply appear and do it all for me. :P

Schedules are a great thing... They keep us in track and disciplined!

I could use something like a cleaning schedule. The vacuuming happens every day (partly because my son is obsessed with the vacuum), but things like dusting and laundry get a bit shameful at times.

We have a dry erase board in our kitchen. Every morning while I wait for my coffee to brew, I write a "to do today" list. It's usually just a few things that I notice need done and I make sure I wipe everything on it off before the end of the day. It works!
