On the road; Small town girl headed to the big city

Hello lovelies! Can I just tell you, this year is flying by already? AND my New York City trip will be here before I know it. This is where I need your help. Up to this point, the closest I've come to being in NYC is watching Breakfast at Tiffany's and reading Joanna Goddard's charming blog. I am searching high and low for suggestions so hit me with all you've got! I would appreciate anything you've got to offer. I'll only be there for 48 short hours and I want to take full advantage.

xx

So. Many. Things.

Momofuku in Soho. Balthazar will take your breath away. Go to the Moma store. Go to the Moma. Go to Brooklyn- you'll never forget it.

How exciting!!!!
Unfortunately I don't really know what the best things to do in the city are. I do work here now but I just come in, work and then go home, haha...
The Metropolitan Museum and American History Museum are always a good idea, but those take up a lot of time... Definitely hit up one of the big stores too... Saks, Barneys...

The High Line is totally on my list too and personally I really enjoyed the Cloisters for being so magically plopped into the upper corner of Manhattan. :) I loved the layout of the Guggenheim, and it's incredible to peer up close at Klimt's portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I in the Neue Galerie.

I hear Balthazar is good for breakfast.
